El arte nos muestra el mundo, y nuestro
mundo contemporáneo nos muestra realidades que requieren atención urgente.
Una cantidad inmanejable de residuos
plásticos, derivados del petróleo, inundan nuestro planeta dañando aire,
tierra y agua.
Con mi obra, mi objetivo es dar nueva vida
a lo que de otro modo acabaría como basura contaminante.
Sabemos que lo que podemos hacer a nivel
personal es insignificante y que carecemos del poder para generar grandes
cambios;
sin embargo, deseamos contribuir a la reflexión sobre un mejor hábitat
para todos. Nadie quiere un mundo contaminado.
Art shows us the world, and our
contemporary world shows us realities that require urgent attention.
An unmanageable amount of plastic waste, derived
from petroleum, floods our planet, damaging the air, land, and water.
With my work, my goal is to give new life to
what would otherwise end up as polluting waste.
We know that what we can do on a personal level
is insignificant and that we lack the power to generate great changes;
however, we wish to contribute to the reflection
on a better habitat for all. Nobody wants a polluted world.
