MARINA GAZULLA pintura / painting MARINA GAZULLA – Argentina La amplitud, lo cerrado, lo entramado, lo fragmentado, son características que Marina Gazulla da a los espacios representados en sus pinturas donde por lo general está inmersa la figura humana. Cuando la figura se hace presente lo hace de un modo ambiguo. Está allí, en ese espacio pictórico donde el juego de matices, de luces y sombras, de texturas y pinceladas van construyendo un clima que la contiene. Pero a la vez nos lleva a otros espacios. Cuando la figura humana se presenta en actitudes introspectivas, retirada hacia un espacio interior nos lleva a la contemplación, a un dejarnos estar en ese mundo creado. Cuando la figura se presenta en actitudes interrogativas dialoga desde su mirada con el espectador, con nuestro espacio extrapitórico, formando parte así de nuestro mundo, un mundo: amplio, cerrado, entramado, fragmentado…. It is in this pictorial game where the combination of hues, lights and shades, textures and brushstrokes create an atmosphere that holds the image. But, at the same time, this image takes us to other spaces. When the human figure appears in introspective attitudes, detached towards an interior space, the image takes us to contemplation, to let us be in that created world, when the human figure appears in interrogative attitudes, it starts a dialogue with the expectator, thus becoming part of our own world.
